Retrieve Transactions

The Transactions Report displays all the transactions that have taken place within a given period.

How to Retrieve Transactions

To retrieve transactions you go to Accounts/Financial Reports/Transactions Report and a screen that looks as follows will appear:

• When the screen above appears and the Yes button is pressed, one will be able to see all transactions including for the closed periods. The screen showing the transactions will look as follows:

• Incase the No button is selected then only the transactions after a closed period will be displayed. The screen showing the transactions will look as follows:

To be replaced when day,month and Year closure is working fine

• From the screens showing transactions above, if we look at the screen when the yes button is selected, we can see that the first transaction is on 01/01/2013.
• While in the second screen where the No button was clicked, the first transaction is on 01/01/2013.

This shows that the transactions displayed in the first screen are only those after a period closure has been run (e.g. day closure, month closure, Run Year-Closure) and those in the second screen are all transactions in the system.
